| Its a wonderful thing it can be hurtful or it can be the best thing that can happen to you ever that you want to run and scream "IM IN LOVE!".. When you put many years into a relationship and you feel like that person can never change their wrongful ways no matter how hard you try it feels like you pretty much wasted those years you were together. Relationships are not so easy you as a couple both have to be patient and try to be there for one another but if one person is trying and the other one keeps messing up the relationship will eventually turn sour. You sit there and keep hoping for change but change will not happen unless your mate will actually come to a realization that they need to change to save the relationship. Change comes from within not forcingly...That means they have to sit and think about what is it that they're doing that's hurting the relationship and turn everything around. When you're in a long relationship sometimes couples tend to drift apart because they tend to grow different perspectives in life. Not every couple agrees but if they have totally different opinions in what they want in life it usually doesn't work out. It doesn't mean that if you belong in the same culture that you will get along better, it depends on what you guys agree on or disagree on.. I think exploring different cultures is pretty fun or even agreeing and finding out about your own culture can be interesting also.. Breakups they're tough.. I have learned that when you argue with your mate never disrespect each other. Once you have done this like call your mate a nasty name or hit them it opens a door and many doors to more insulting and name calling. Respect each other and if you feel like you can't control yourselves take an hour and take a walk but if you promise your mate that you will come back an hour make sure you come back because you have made a promise and if you break that it can lead to more trust issues... Also when you keep breaking up and getting back together because your mate is not making those changes then you're pretty much wasting your time.. Sigh simple as it sounds its really difficult. Some relationships are easier than others but if you guys have love and respect then love can remain if you guys just try really hard to stay together.. Never disrespect each other.. My number one rule! Love and respect... if things seem like they're getting old try and think of the old times.. What did you guys do before that made you fall for him or her? Think of how you guys met and how happy you were when you met them.. Go out, spend time and TALK!!! TALK about everything! Communication is the number one key! Sometimes though when u fight too much communication is not the answer... have u and your mate fought til 4 in the morning and u don't even know what the hell you are fighting about? Sometimes wheen you just sit there and yell at each other for hours it doesn't get anywhere and it leads to disrespecting each other. That's why you should just take a break and maybe if you're tired or frustrated from work you need to explain to ur mate that u are having a bad day and ask them to talk about it later... but remember iif you have made the promise to talk about it later then you should talk about it later because like I said if you made a promise to talk keep it and do it when you guys are both calm and your mind is clear.. I have fought endlessly with my ex for hours and wished that we can just stop. Don't yell at each other its that simple... yeah I know it isn't simple but talk it out. If you're having doubts ask for clarification ... love and respect one another... another thing is being honest.. Lying also opens doors and leads to more lies and heartache... if these things can help save your relationship then I did my job... but remember everybody all women are queens and all men are kings.. You should be treated the best!! Tell your mate that you are a plant and you need to be watered daily!! If u don't get the water the plant will dry out! When the plant is usually dry other people notice and might want to offer some of their water.. If your mate is watering you daily and keeping u happy then you stay happy and don't need anyone to water you... but if ur mate is being lazy and not watering you then other people notice! So people water you plants! Lol u get my point... remember you deserve the best that's what my teacher told me in my comm class! She's the best! Love and respect each other! Water your plants! =) everyone is a king or queen and deserve the best treatment. If ur not happy then leave! Life is too short to put up with jerks! Lol.. Ok any questions ask me!!
